Getting Started in Grow a Pet Fighter
A first-session checklist so you hatch, fight, and fuse without wasting your only good pet.
Who this guide is for
This page is the short first-hour plan for Grow a Pet Fighter on Roblox. If you want the longer narrative walkthrough with video, open How to Play instead. Come back here when you need a checklist you can glance at between Arena runs.
Grow a Pet Fighter is a Simulation/Tycoon by God Bless Zak 7. Servers hold 8 players. The advertised loop is simple: find and hatch eggs, fight in the Arena, climb the Tower, fuse pets, and collect offline cash. Details shift with patches, so every price below is an observed example, not a forever rule.
Minute 0–10: hatch something
- Join from the official experience linked on the Links Hub.
- Find A Strange Egg at your base.
- When the game asks for food / a Food Bowl purchase, pay the amount shown. A September 16 walkthrough saw roughly $60 produce a Level 1 Frog — your number may differ.
- Name or accept the pet, then locate the Treat Bowl.
Do not stand AFK hoping for a mythical first pull. Early Frogs and Lizards are enough to learn buttons. More egg theory lives in Eggs.
Minute 10–25: bones and Arena
- Walk the Arena perimeter and pick up bones on the ground.
- Feed via the Treat Bowl so your pet gains levels.
- From the HOME screen, press TO ARENA and send your fighter.
- Watch one full fight. Note whether you win cleanly or get deleted.
If you lose immediately, buy more food, gather more bones, and try again. The Arena guide expands routes and habits. Resist the urge to open fusion after a single win.
Minute 25–40: peek at the Tower
When your pet clears a few Arena loops:
- Open the Tower flow from the UI.
- Attempt early floors only.
- Record the floor where you die.
- Return to Arena/eggs to close the gap instead of rage-sending the same underleveled pet.
Tower milestones matter for cash and progression, but early deaths are normal. Full strategy: Tower.
Minute 40–55: learn fusion without using it yet
Open the PETS fusion screen and look only. Confirm you understand that offered pets will be consumed. Close the menu until you own a duplicate you are willing to spend. Protection rules are covered in Fusion and the pets hub.
If a script menu offers Auto Fuse, leave it off — see Scripts.
Minute 55–60: leave once on purpose
Exit to Roblox home for a few minutes, then rejoin and claim offline cash. You want to see the payout UI at least once so later AFK sessions make sense. Details: Offline cash.
Early mistakes to avoid
- Redeeming codes from other games. Grow a Chicken Fighter and Pet Fighters codes do not belong here. Check Codes — none confirmed active as of October 2026 research.
- Fusing your only clearer. Common and fatal.
- Ignoring live prices. Guides cite $60 as an observation, not a covenant.
- Skipping bones. Arena perimeter pickups are free progress.
- Copying Chicken Fighter tier lists. Use this game’s tier list lenses instead.
Button labels worth memorizing
- TO ARENA — sends you into Arena fights from HOME.
- Treat Bowl / Food Bowl — feeding and hatch-related purchases.
- PETS — roster and fusion.
- Tower entry control — follow the on-screen label in your build.
More UI notes: Controls.
What “good progress” looks like after one session
You have hatched at least one pet, won or nearly won an Arena fight, seen a Tower floor, inspected fusion without panic-merging, and collected offline cash once. That is enough. Next sessions deepen eggs, Arena farming, and careful merges.
Where to go next

- Systems: Eggs, Arena, Tower, Fusion, Offline cash
- Roster: Pets Hub, Tier List

Summary
Getting started means hatching from A Strange Egg, feeding with bones and bowls, pressing TO ARENA, sampling the Tower, and refusing to fuse keepers until you understand the PETS screen. Keep prices tied to your live server, ignore wrong-game code lists, and graduate to the longer How to Play guide when you want the full picture.
