Why a controls page exists

Grow a Pet Fighter uses standard Roblox movement, but its HOME labels confuse new players more than the WASD keys. This guide lists the controls and UI names you need for the hatch–fight–fuse loop. Pair it with Getting Started and How to Play.

Labels can be renamed in patches. If your button text differs slightly, trust the on-screen wording and skim Updates.

Movement (all platforms)

• PC: WASD or arrow keys to move, Space to jump, mouse to look / click UI.
• Gamepad: Left stick move, face buttons per Roblox defaults, right stick camera.
• Touch: On-screen thumbstick and jump; tap UI buttons directly.

Shift-lock and camera modes follow your Roblox settings. Nothing unique is required beyond being able to walk the Arena perimeter for bones.

TO ARENA

Food Bowl / Treat Bowl

PETS

Opens roster / fusion. This is where merges happen and where you can accidentally spend keepers. Read Fusion before confirming.

Tower entry

On-screen control that starts Tower climbs. Exact caption varies; look for Tower wording near other HOME actions. Strategy: Tower.

Offline / claim prompts

After time away, a claim or payout prompt may appear on join. That is offline cash, not a virus popup.

First-session button order

1. Walk to A Strange Egg.
2. Confirm Food Bowl / food purchase.
3. Use Treat Bowl with bones from the Arena perimeter.
4. Press TO ARENA.
5. Optionally open Tower after a few wins.
6. Open PETS to look — not to panic-fuse.
7. Leave once, rejoin, and practice the offline claim.

Camera and click tips

• Zoom out enough to see bone pickups on the Arena rim.
• On mobile, rotate the camera before blaming missing bones.
• If a UI button does not respond, wait for the server to finish loading or rejoin.
• Do not click fusion confirm while lagging; wait for the preview to populate.

Keyboard quality-of-life (Roblox global)

• Esc — Roblox menu / leave
• Screenshot keys — useful before fusion or rare hatches
• Chat — optional; not required for solo progression

Server size is 8, so chat noise is limited compared to giant simulators.

Controls vs scripts

Executors that offer Auto Bones, Auto Arena, Auto Tower, Auto Hatch, Auto Fuse, ESP, or Auto Rebirth bypass manual clicking. They are optional and risky. Learning the real buttons first makes it obvious when a macro misclicks fusion. Warnings: Scripts.

Accessibility notes

• Increase Roblox UI scale in app settings if HOME buttons feel tiny on phone.
• Use headphones if audio cues help you notice claim popups.
• Colorblind players should rely on text labels (TO ARENA, PETS) rather than icon color alone.

Wrong-game control sheets

Troubleshooting unresponsive UI

1. Rejoin a fresh server.
2. Check that you are not in a dead session after an update.
3. Ensure you are not in a camera-locked cutscene.
4. Try click vs tap vs gamepad to rule out device quirks.
